"Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he."
-Proverbs 29:18

We are thankful that Charity Baptist Church has always been a mission-minded church. We believe that every believer can take part in taking the Gospel to the world through the ministry outreach of their local church. First of all, we have a weekly soul-winning visitation outreach every Wednesday evening at 5:30 PM and a monthly outreach service at Carolina Care Nursing Home of Cherryville on the 4th Tuesday of every month at 7:00 PM. Charity Bible College which periodically schedules cram courses as well as semester classes was founded to prepare men and women for serving the Lord. The class lectures are supplemented with out-of-class weekly assignments to meet the educational criteria needed for the student. Charity Bible College is affiliated with Macedonia Baptist College of Midland, NC as a part of their Satellite School Association Program.

Our church also partners with Hope Tract Ministry of York, SC by periodically sending a box of tracts to a foreign mission field. We also have several different mission works that we support on a monthly basis: Bro. Steven Brock- Missionary to the Boston, MA area, Bro. Richard Murphy with Hope Tracts, Bro. David Epps with Gulf Coast Prison Ministry, Bro. Jon Harman- Missionary in Brazil, Bro. Kipp Rayfield- Missionary in Brazil, Bro. Bruce Cook- Missionary in Canada, Bro. B.J. Stagner- Missionary in Wales, Bro. Jack Price- Missionary in Zambia, Bro. Richard Bibey in the Helps Ministry, Bro. Jess Cawili- Missionary in the Philippines, and the Crossroads Rescue Mission of Shelby, NC. Last of all, we are thankful that God enabled us to start Charity Christian School on our campus. Our school is a private Christian school offering K through 12th Grade. www.charitychristianschool.org
